1st visit to the Vet

Our little boy went to the Vet for the first time today! He got his first clean bill of health and weighed in at a whopping 5lbs 14oz! Not only did he get weighed that really made me happy, but he received his first set of vaccines!! I swear I'm going to be such a nut case until he receives all of his vaccines. The closer it gets to bringing him home the more excited but also the more nervous I get. I just want him to be a healthy puppy. I know he will be happy, but he needs to stay healthy first. Well exactly 2 weeks from today we will be picking up our little man. These pictures I believe were taking at the vet's office this morning. Jeff (well so do I) loves imitated what he thinks Koda is thinking. For these pictures Jeff said he could see the progression... "Ugh, your taking ANOTHER picture". to "HEY stop taking my picture or I attack!" to "Oooh shiny object". Do we know our puppy or do we know our puppy! hahaha.

Well after the loss of our little puppy back in October we are finally getting a new puppy! He is a black and white Siberian Husky. He has blue eyes and is the cutest thing ever. The funny thing he is has the same markings as our other puppy. He is our old puppy re-incarnated in a black and white version. The breeder says "he is just adorable, playful, sweet natured and he is curious." His mother is red and white and his father is black and white. We are looking forward to having him home but are also very nervous. We have been bleaching everything in our house to help kill whatever is left of the parvo virus that is in our place. We will be able to take him home on February 10th if everything checks out with the vet.
